Event and Project Funding

Exeter BID is keen to support local events and activities taking place in the BID area, which are beneficial to the four core projects that provide the basis of the current 5-year Business Plan. These projects are:

Exciting Exeter

Welcome and Safe

Looking After Business

Applications can be made twice each year for events taking place either during Winter & Spring or during Summer & Autumn.

Winter & Spring Events during October to March

Applications for funding of events taking place during Winter & Spring must be received by 31st August. All applications received will be presented to the BID Board of Directors at the September Board meeting

Summer & Autumn Events during April to September

Applications for funding of events taking place during Summer & Autumn must be received by 28th/29th February. All applications received will be presented to the BID Board of Directors at the March Board meeting.

How to Apply

All applications for Exeter BID event funding must be made by completing an Exeter BID Event & Project Funding Application Form 2017-2018, which Exeter BID members can downoad from the Members Area of the BID website.

Organisers of events or projects who are not BID members should contact the BID Office to request an Application Form

Please return the completed Application Form, preferably by email to info@exeterbid.co.uk

Please note that whilst we aim to deal with requests as soon as we are able, this process is unlikely to be rapid and all applications will need to be approved by the BID Board in either the September or March Board meeting only.

Submitting an application does not guarantee funding availability, a successful request, or funds being allocated that match your requested levels.
